My favorite sushi restaurant has over 100 Sushi Rolls on their menu! I’m setting out to try every one of them. Many of the rolls are named after customers favorite rolls. How this roll was named is a mystery. But I can only imagine it happened when they tasted it. Maybe it was someone named Neil? On the outside is fresh water eel and that special eel sauce that goes with traditional Japanese Unadon making it slightly salty and sweet at the same time. Inside the soft white sushi rice is rolled a slice of shrimp tempura adding a much needed texture and crab – which needs no introduction.
